[Joint] Off-line joint class with UCR and TUFS

From July 24 to 27, 2018, a joint class was held with Dr. Haruna and students from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and Prof. John Kim and students from the University of California, Riverside (UCR), which is affiliated to Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. The joint class focused on war-related field trips and preparatory study.
In preparation for visiting the Yasukuni Shrine, the Yushukan, and the Women’s Active Museum on War and Peace (WAM) on Saturday 27th, the students learned about the Yasukuni Shrine on Wednesday 24th, and watched a documentary video related to learning about the military comfort women on Thursday 25th and 26th. Students then watched a related documentary film on Friday 26th. On 26th, the director of the film held a talk session. On Saturday 27th, the students from both universities went on a field trip and actively exchanged opinions at each place they visited.
