４月２８日に、POPIC（真の多文化共生を目指すパブリック・アウトリーチ・プロジェクトin名古屋～地域のために、地域と共に）が主催するワークショップ『日本に暮らす移民に対する多言語サービスの現状と課題：当事者とNGO、行政の視点から』が開催されます。職場の院生さんたちが頑張ってしている活動です。

We are pleased to announce the following workshop by POPIC.

*POPIC (Public Outreach Project for fostering Intercultural Coexistence in Nagoya – University for the people, with the people -) is a community participatory project selected as one of the Nagoya University Alumni Grant Program and GSID Alumni Grant Program, composed of mainly students of Nagoya University collaborating with specialists (NGOs, administrative lawyers, university professors etc.). Our main goal is to contribute to the construction of an Intercultural society by collectively identifying the main problems faced by immigrants and engaging on solving them.
– Title: Open Workshop “Current status and challenges of Multilingual support to migrants in Japan: from the viewpoints of migrant, NGO and local government”

1. Ms. Miki GOTO
Studied Filipino language at Osaka University of Foreign Studies (Master’s Program) and Nagoya University Graduate School of International Development (Doctoral Program). Worked at Earthquake Disaster Information Center and Tabunka Kyosei Center in Hyogo.

2. Ms. Nayara Natsumi KINJO
Born in Brazil in 1992 (4th generation Japanese-Brazilian). Migrated to Japan in 1998 and received Japanese education.
Graduated from Kinjo Gakuin University College of Contemporary Society and Culture, Department of Community and Social Work
Kinjo Gakuin University Graduate School of Humanities, Sociology Major Master student
Since high school, she has engaged in the activities of an NGO established by her parents and now working as a coordinator of the NGO.
*This workshop is supported by Nagoya University Alumni Grant Program.
